Scraps of Darkness "Bon Appetit" 2nd Reveal

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing my second project created with the Scraps of Darkness October Kit "BonAppetit"

I decided to use a cardstock background and splatter with Lumiere and Texture Mist. I included cardboard in the corners and tucked beneath my layers. We received Dylusions in our kits and I painted the cardboard with it in the red tone. I used some Lumiere and Lindys embossing powder on the wooden gate which I promptly broke apart and layered within my page.

Here is a close up of the wooden embellishment.

 I added a Prima metal clock but the gears were in the kit. I used Lumiere and some other paints to give the clock and gears texture and interest.

Another close up. I love those texture mists. They dry with a raised finish. So cool!
